Community Care Worker – Evenings

Care Wyvern has launched an exciting new way of working for staff, enabling them to enjoy an improved work life balance by allowing staff to work for 9 days whilst getting paid for 10**.

Care work is incredibly rewarding but can sometimes be demanding which is why we are offering staff this imaginative new benefit. We believe we are the first employer in Somerset to offer staff this chance to work a little less without losing income, enabling people to enjoy more leisure time doing the things they love with friends and family.


We encourage building a professional relationship with your clients, which is why we have set visits with each client.

You will be required to:

  • Support clients to get ready for each day, bathing, having breakfast and getting ready to go out for the day
  • Prepare nutritious healthy meals through the day that look appetising as well as offering plenty to drink
  • Take clients to run errands or for a trip out
  • After a busy day, support your client to get ready for bed, ready for the following day

You will be required to drive around our beautiful countryside so a car or motorbike is essential!

**To qualify for the bonus 10th paid day staff will be required to work 9 days comprising 7 weekdays and 2 weekend days every fortnight.
